Strides for Shelter 5K Walk + Run, October 19, 2024 at McAlpine Creek, Charlotte NC. Canopy Housing Foundation has given away over $170,000 to seven different beneficiaries through Strides for Shelter race proceeds over the course of the race’s seven year history.

Programs
COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAM
Provides support to area nonprofit organizations that address unmet housing needs in Mecklenburg, Iredell and Haywood counties.
Workforce Housing CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Educates Realtors® to work with first-time buyers and clients purchasing affordable housing.

We proudly participate in this day where Mecklenburg County residents come together and talk about ways to make our community more connected, dynamic and opportunity-rich.
Awards
Humanitarian Award
Individuals, groups or projects are awarded annually for outstanding contributions in the community. Award recipients designate a nonprofit organization to receive up to $5,000 from the Foundation.
